Let your picking hand work the filter.

Some parts need a tone that moves with your touch. It is an envelope follower and triggerable filter, designed for touch-responsive modulation. In UP mode, the filter sweeps upward on the attack and back down during the decay. Beyond classic auto-wah, it can produce auto-flanging, auto-phasing and lo-fi EQ-style effects.

Decide how it listens

SENS sets how strongly the envelope reacts to your input. Instruments with lower output levels may need higher SENS settings. ATTACK sets how quickly the envelope rises, and DECAY how long it takes to fall back. Keep ATTACK lower than DECAY, or the envelope will not trigger. With BANDWIDTH on OFF, the pedal acts as a static tone filter.

Give the filter its voice

FILTER MODE switches between high-pass, band-pass and low-pass. FILTER RANGE moves in roughly one-octave steps from LO to HI. COLOUR sets the resonance, which stops just short of self-oscillation. Switch FILTER SWEEP to DOWN for a reverse auto-wah. BLEND mixes your dry signal with the filtered one.

Room for the rest of your board

Effects in the FX LOOP leave the trigger section unaffected. Bypassing MEATBALL also bypasses every effect in the loop. Two pedal inputs take a volume or expression pedal to modulate DECAY and INTENS. The basic presets include Auto-Flange, Auto-Phase, Laser Beams and Lo-fi Radio EQ.
