The goal of the FORMULA™ series design was to exaggerate the character of the original guitars, instead of making changes for the sake of change. If you look, you will see that the upper bout has been brought in about a quarter of an inch on both sides. The change in proportion actually makes the cutaway appear more extreme without taking away from the character of the guitar. The string through the body bridge creates amazing bearing pressure at the bridge, which results in incredible attack and sustain. The punch that this guitar can generate will floor you. The pickups offer up a traditional tone that just can’t be topped. The angled back headstock produces greater string bearing pressure at the nut. This gives the guitar more attack and sustain.
